Step 1

Open the Settings App

Unlike Android, on iPhone you add email accounts through the Settings app β€” not through the Mail app itself.

Find the grey Settings icon (βš™οΈ) on your home screen and tap it. It's usually on the first page of apps or in the dock at the bottom.

You can also swipe down from the middle of your home screen and type "Mail" in the search bar, then tap Mail Accounts as a shortcut.

Outgoing (SMTP): Use SSL = ON  |  Port = 587

Step 9 β€” Final Step

Tap "Save" to Finish

iOS will verify your credentials and connect to the mail server. Once verified, you'll see a confirmation screen asking which data to sync (Mail, Notes, etc.).

Make sure Mail is toggled ON, then tap Save in the top-right corner.

If you get an error saying the server cannot be reached, double-check the Host Name spelling β€” it should be mail. followed by your exact domain, with no "www" or "https://".
